Before processing a return.
Do you have the item in your hand?
- Yes? – Fulfill the item and restock the item to your location.
- No? – DO NOT Fulfill the item and DO NOT Restock the item.
- Needed to fulfill the item but you do not have the stock in your hand? – Fulfill the item but DO NOT restock the item.
- Click & Collect in transit to your store (Stock has not arrived)? DO NOT Fulfil the item as you do not have it in your hand and DO NOT restock. Once the item arrives at your location teams the Inventory Controller so the item can be adjusted into your store.
Communication is important! If you accidentally restock something that did not need to be restocked or you do not restock something that you actually have in your hand, or if you restock it to the incorrect location it is important to let the inventory controller know so the stock remains accurate.
